Technical Workshop - Build a Voice Agent with Vapi

Voice agents are increasingly being deployed in production for a wide range of use cases – customer support, sales outreach, scheduling, collections, fully automated phone operations, and many more. But shipping a voice agent that actually works on thousands of calls requires a different design discipline than building chatbots or text-based AI.
Building for voice AI requires considerations that differ from those of text. Every word exists for exactly one moment. Turns need to be short. Information density per response matters. And the difference between an inbound support call and an outbound sales call changes everything about how the agent should open, pace, recover from errors, and measure success.
This workshop with Vapi walks through the real execution work behind building enterprise-grade voice agents – from conversation design fundamentals and persona calibration to prompt engineering patterns purpose-built for voice. The session is grounded in frameworks and production examples – building a production-grade voice AI agent alongside a forward-deployed engineer
